The foundation is a
registered charity with over 300 active members in the U.K., Europe, and
the U.S. Open meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month for
meditation, vichara, readings, tea, friendship, and discussion. All are
welcome. A 100-page journal, Self-Enquiry, is published three times
a year. Contributors include Robert Adams, Douglas Harding, Catherine Ingram,
Ramesh Balsekar, and David Frawley. The foundation also publishes a newsletter
with information about teachers who are visiting the U.K., items of topical
interest, and a notice board. An annual retreat is held in June. An elected
committee guides the foundation. Members endeavor to expound Ramana Maharshi's
teaching faithfully, without the intrusion of personalities, and to practice
Self-inquiry and surrender in all circumstances of their everyday lives. | | |
